The Gateway was really running slow so had it in the shop and it cost me $100 and don't think the fixed the speed issue but they did fix the monitor issue. So I have to unplug the monitor and plug back in to get it to work. When I turn on the computer and monitor, the monitor does not always show connection. I am using a Hanns.G HL161 (16') Monitor. I have a Gateway PC Tower Model SX2110 that came with Windows 8.
